Multiple-Sensor-Type Data Logger

The National Instruments Compact FieldPoint modular distributed I/O system is for measurements that must be distributed from the computer. This system provides a mixture of several measurement types and comes in a rugged, industrial-grade package that is excellent for installation into harsh environments. You can place one of these systems in every location where you need to make measurements. In particular, this system is configured to measure:

• 8 thermocouple channels
• 8 RTD channels
• 16 general-purpose voltage inputs (up to 36 V)
• 8 discrete (digital) inputs

This modular system is recommended as a starting point for general-purpose logging applications that require a variety of sensor and signal types. Please consult with your sales representative to configure this system for different measurement type and signal connection mixes.
