Biomedical Data Acquisition and Analysis

Compatible
The transition is easy. You can complete the initial acquisition of raw data using your same transducers and amplifiers. Then connect the analog output from the instrument or amplifier into one of National Instruments BNC connection boards. The BNC board connects directly to National Instruments data acquisition (DAQ) products through a DAQ cable. Your signal is then routed through the DAQ board and is ready to be displayed and analyzed by BioBench.

Cost-Effective
Through the flexibility and capacity of the PC, you are empowered with BioBench to both keep your traditional instruments and develop a PC-based solution. You conserve your investment because you do not have to upgrade your instruments or spend time learning new hardware peculiarities. Using the PC to acquire, store, display, and analyze data opens new doors to all users in the life sciences field.

BioBench is ideal for both research and academic settings. When time is essential, BioBench is the answer to physiological sampling. Simply hit the "GO" button and BioBench is collecting real-world data. Stop acquisition, switch to the analysis screen, and highlight your data to perform a number of pertinent analysis routines.

Download Biomedical Monitor & Data Logger Starter Kit
The National Instruments Biomedical Monitor & Data-Logger start-up kit is designed for testing applications in the life sciences. The kit can be used to monitor and log a variety of sensor outputs and, by the use of transducers, convert them into signals. Using the hardware, one can connect to various types of signal output including, but not limited to, voltage, thermocouples, bridge output based on a strain gauge, thermistor or photoresistor, and various RTD?s.
